Nadan parinda

वो भोर कहाँ, जिसमें ये मन जुड़ जाते थे दो धागे से 

वो शाम कहाँ, जिसमें सूरज उगता था तेरे माथे से 

मैंने इस जग में रब ढूंढा था
तेरे रग रग में रब ढूंढा था 

पर इंसा में कहाँ था रब को मिल जाना।

 रब धरती है ,किसी का अम्बर  है  

ईसा है तो कहीं पैगम्बर है  

राहों में चलते मिल जाए;

बादल सा नभ पे घिर जाए ;

मैंने जगमग जग भी देख  लिया

मैंने अम्बर तक भी देख लिया 

अब थककर राह पे बैठा हूँ; 
रब तू है कहाँ, रब तू है कहाँ 

नहीं अब मै घर नहीं जाऊँगा। 
अब ढूंढ तुझे नहीं पाउंगा।
अब थककर राह पे बैठा हूँ। 
रब तू है कहाँ, रब तू है जहाँ  … 
अब ढूंढ मुझे; अपना ले बना 
मैं एक नादान परिंदा भटका सा

रौशनी

रास्तों में कहीं रौशनी मिल गयी 

मंज़िलों तक मेरे साथ चलना मगर। 

मौसमों को बदलते हुए देखना,

भोर को सांझ में ढलते देखना,

 और मुझे आसमां और ज़मी के दरमियां 

 सूखे पत्तों पे चलते हुए देखना। 

हाँ सवेरे से  जब रात हो जायेगी,

इस ज़मीं की हर इक चीज़ सो जाएगी,

देर तक जागते मेरे दो नैन में;  

एक अधूरा सा बन ख्वाब जलना मगर। 

रास्तों में कहीं रौशनी मिल गयी 

मंज़िलों तक मेरे साथ चलना मगर। 

ALL

All I need right now,

is if these travails could cease;

 is some peace;

is a place to rest;

and

These paths untraversed.

न रौशनी थी , न अंधेरा 

सूरज पश्चिम में डूब रहा  था

इस जग की उलझी बातों से 

ये मेरा मन ऊब रहा था 

मेरे और उस ढलते सूरज तक 

मीलों का फ़ासला है 

क्षितिज तक जो राहें जातीं हैं ,

उन राहों पर मन चल पड़ा है 

ऐ खुदा 

उन राहों पर 

कोई तो तेरा पता है.…

There are

 some green leaves in my garden.

And they still wait silently,

for the night to end,

for dawn to break.

RISE AND SHINE

Noise around, peace within.

  Dreams to live, moments to win.

I burn today, to gleam,to shine.

I tell my heart, it'll all be fine.

The beginning.

बंद जो मोड़ है 

वहीँ एक  आगाज़ है 

मुझमे दरिया भी है 

मुझमे  ही प्यास है 

Sanity

My sanity.
Does not mean.
That I had been untouched by evil.
Or that the malice prevailing on the earth,
had not striked
here..

It just means.
That I,
did not let it adhere...

And there is sanity in my heart.
As long as 'My Lord' dwells here.
And He shall desert me never...

There's a song inside here.

A music.

And it goes on over and over again.

Still unsung, unheard by the world.

Its mine.

All mine.

just as only the waters know

What lies inside there.

Deep inside the soul of the sea.
